The O-Shot uses a clinically proven technique called Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy to rejuvenate vaginal tissues and enhance sexual pleasure. The platelets immediately activate the body’s localized stem cells and begin rejuvenating and revitalizing vaginal and clitoral function. This rejuvenation process helps women experience orgasms with sexual intercourse and increases the strength of the orgasms. This not only helps women feel empowered and confident in their sexual identity, but when women reach climax, a substance known as Oxytocin, is released in the body, which reduces stress and gives an enhanced sense of well-being.

Dr. Hayes is one of the few physicians trained to perform this breakthrough procedure.

What is PRP?

PRP is a portion of your blood that contains healing elements and growth factors. To create PRP, your own blood is drawn and the platelets and growth factors are separated with a special, FDA approved centrifuge. Using a proprietary technique, the PRP is injected into an area around the clitoris and vagina that is critical to sexual pleasure. Women experience little to no pain, as the area is thoroughly numbed with a potent anesthetic cream. The O-Shot brings back the body memory of awesome premenopausal orgasms and help women reconnect with their own Sexy.

FAQs about the O-Shot® Procedure:

  • What is Dr. Hayes’ Protocol?

    Answer:

After the O-Shot procedure, you are asked to use the Intensity device (included in the price) to stimulate and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. Please use the device daily for a minimum of 10 minutes for 2 weeks. The more you use the device the better. You may continue daily or weekly and use indefinitely for continued benefit.

  • Does the O-Shot treat Urinary Incontinence?

    Answer:

Many women report significant improvement of stress and urge incontinence. There are also many reports of total resolution of the problem. Strengthening the pelvic floor musculature in conjunction with PRP can significantly impact urinary incontinence. We recommend using the INTENSITY vaginal device (protocol) for the best combined outcome in conjunction with the O Shot.

  • Did you Train for this Procedure?

    Answer:

Yes. I’m specially trained, certified and licensed to administer the O-Shot.

  • Can I have a Consultation and the Procedure
at the same time?

    Answer:

You may have services on the same day as a consultation as long as you make your desire for service known at the time of scheduling.

  • What should I Expect during my Appointment?

    Answer:

The Doctor will quickly review your medical history.  You will have an opportunity to ask questions should you have any.  A topical numbing cream is applied to the injection area.   Your blood is then drawn and prepared.  Once your PRP is ready, I’ll inject into two small areas of the vagina.  The entire process takes approximately 30 minutes.

  • Does it Hurt?

    Answer:

Most women are quite comfortable during the procedure.  The discomfort is often described as a mild pinch. The numbing feeling may last 30-60 minutes after the procedure.

  • Are there any Side Effects or Downtime?

    Answer:

There are typically no side effects or downtime.   There may be a few drops of blood from the injection site.  You can return to work, exercise and any other activity the same day (including sexual activity).

  • How much does It Cost?

    Answer:

The O shot procedure costs $1500.  This includes the Intensity device that is part of our clinical protocol.

A credit card is required to reserve your appointment.

  • Do I have to Come Back to see the Doctor after the procedure?

    Answer:

We would like to have a very brief phone conversation or office visit (15 minutes) at 8 weeks after your procedure.  We want to know the benefits that you may have experienced from having the O-Shot.  A plan for further care will be considered at that time.

  • Will I need a 2nd O-shot?

    Answer:

Some women choose to have a 2nd O-shot for various reasons.  You may have a 2nd O-shot after 8 weeks should you desire.

  • How many O-shots may I have?

    Answer:

There is no limit to the number of O-shots a woman can have safely.  Evaluation by a physician skilled in the use of PRP is necessary to determine potential risk and benefit.

  • Is the Procedure FDA approved?

    Answer:

PRP Procedures are not approved or disapproved by FDA because PRP is not a drug.  The FDA has approved the PRP harvesting kits that I use.  They have been deemed safe.  PRP has always been shown to be safe and is being shown in many medical specialties to be effective at regeneration, healing and rejuvenation.

  • Can I have the Procedure done if I am Pregnant?

    Answer:

NO – we do not do any procedures on woman who are pregnant or lactating.

If you are not sure – a pregnancy test will need to be done prior.
